Join Pao Art Center’s for a series of creative drop-in workshops programmed in conjunction with our latest exhibition, Inspired by... Artwork by Josiah Quincy Elementary School Students. Families and children are invited to view the exhibit and create their own work. Parents and guardians can stay to create work with their children or explore the gallery on their own. This workshop is geared towards children ages 4-12 but all ages are welcome.
No prior art experience required; just bring your enthusiasm and curiosity. We will have instructors who can speak English and/or Mandarin or Cantonese.
Based on traditional Mexican tile art, this workshop will encourage participants to think about patterns in new and exciting ways. We will provide the supplies and you will provide the creativity! Each new tile can either be brought home or can be added to the exhibit itself.
