Spend the afternoon learning from master artist, Xiaoyong Liu, and learn the techniques of this traditional art style in our popular workshop series.

This session we will explore maple. A single, flowing stroke of ink captures the maple’s branching veins, where delicate leaves unfurl like quiet flames in the autumn wind.

Class size is limited to 16 to ensure time for individual attention from Mr. Liu. Class is conducted in Mandarin with English language support.

All supplies will be provided.

About the Instructor

Xiaoyong Liu emigrated to the United States in 2008. In 2009, he started teaching children and adults Chinese painting of landscapes, flowers, and birds. In recent years, his students have exhibited their art and participated and won awards in the National Teenagers Calligraphy Contests.
